From San Giovanni to Ben Rhydding

More than a shop.

In Italy, the local bottega is part of everyday life. You pop in for coffee and end up staying for a conversation.

That is the feeling Fabrizia Wagstaff-Pignanelli wanted to bring to Ben Rhydding. Inspired by childhood memories of San Giovanni, our family opened Rizia’s Bottega on Bolling Road in August 2026.

From the family behind Ilkley’s Emporio Italia, this is our neighbourhood place for good food, coffee and a little time together. Come for breakfast, meet a friend for lunch, or pick up Italian provisions to take home.
